Monipol is a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) founded in 1995. Our strength lies in many years’ experience, ability to adapt to our Sponsors’ needs and highly trained staff. Monipol’s founders are Dr med. Jarosław Stępień and Dr rer. nat Raphael Teichmann.
Dr Stępień was born in Poland in 1956, he grew up and studied medicine in Kraków. Dr Teichmann was born in 1959 also in Poland, however, he grew up in Germany where he studied biology in Cologne and Düsseldorf.
They both worked for an international pharmaceutical company and conducted clinical trials. On behalf of this company they conducted clinical trials in Poland in the early 90s. Their outstanding experience with Polish Investigators and their patients led them to establish in 1995 monipol a Clinical Research Organization. Monipol conducts clinical trials in Poland and in all German speaking countries.
Between 2002 and 2013 a 24 bed Phase I unit was functioning as a part of monipol.
In 2004 TŰV Rheinland CERT based on certification audit confirmed that monipol implemented and complies with Quality Management System according to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
In 2005 monipol became a founder member of Across Alliance – European CRO Association. In 2006 Across Alliance received ISO 9001:2000 certificate on International Project Management.
In 2012 monipol became a member of Polish Association for Employers of Clinical Research Organizations – POLCRO.
